Sara Catherine Harrison—known to most as Cathi—is an experienced estate planning attorney serving individuals and families in the Paducah, Kentucky area. With over two decades of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate care, Cathi brings both knowledge and heart to her practice.

Born and raised right here in Western Kentucky and proud to call this community home, Cathi graduated Salutatorian from Heath High School, Class of 1996. Then she attended Murray State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2000). Her love for learning and desire to serve others led her to pursue a career in law.

Cathi’s path to working with older adults and their families began in 2001, during her time at Southern Illinois University School of Law, when she joined the Elder Law Clinic. The experience showed her how meaningful it is to help people plan ahead and make confident decisions during vulnerable times. It helped shape the compassionate, client-centered approach she still brings to her work today.

In her estate planning practice, Cathi works with older adults, families, and individuals at all stages of life, helping them make thoughtful decisions about wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and other legal matters. She is known for meeting clients wherever they are, including visits to nursing homes, hospitals, or private residences. Her clients appreciate her calm presence, clear communication, and unwavering empathy during what can often be an emotional or overwhelming process.

In addition to estate planning, Cathi has experience in family law matters, including adoption and divorce, dependency, neglect, and abuse (DNA) cases, probate, and adult guardianship.

Cathi lives in Kevil with her husband and teenage son. She is also proud mom and stepmom to two amazing grown daughters. Her personal hobbies include running, reading, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She has also been homeschooling her children for about 15 years.
