Sara Catherine Harrison—known to most as Cathi—is an experienced estate planning attorney serving individuals, families, and older adults in the Paducah, Kentucky area. With over two decades of experience, Cathi is dedicated to offering compassionate legal services with both knowledge and heart.

Born and raised in Western Kentucky, Cathi is proud to call this community home. She graduated Salutatorian from Heath High School in 1996 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Murray State University (2000), graduating magna cum laude. Her love for learning and desire to serve others led her to pursue a career in law.

Cathi graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2003, where she began her journey working with older adults and their families. In 2001, during her time in law school, she joined the SIU Elder Law Clinic. This experience opened her eyes to the importance of planning ahead and empowering people to make confident decisions during vulnerable times. The experience solidified her client-centered approach, which is at the core of her practice today.

In her estate planning practice, Cathi works with older adults, families, and individuals at all stages of life, helping them navigate critical decisions about wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and other important legal matters. She is known for meeting clients wherever they are—whether at nursing homes, hospitals, or private residences—making the process as convenient as possible. Her clients appreciate her calm presence, clear communication, and unwavering empathy during what can often be an emotional or overwhelming process.

In addition to estate planning, Cathi has experience in family law matters, including adoption and divorce, dependency, neglect, and abuse (DNA) cases, probate, and adult guardianship. Her broad range of experience enables her to offer well-rounded advice and support during difficult times.

Cathi lives in Kevil with her husband and teenage son. She is also proud mom and stepmom to two amazing grown daughters. Outside of work, Cathi enjoys running, reading, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She has also been homeschooling her children for about 15 years, which has only deepened her commitment to helping others and making a positive impact on her community.
